The upper Quinault is full of beauty, this is a nice trail when we where there the snow was still present on trail and the road coming in. Remember this is NOT A DOG FRIENDLY AREA.

Lake Sylvia State Park is a nice place to visit, nice hiking good camp ground fishing.

#1 of 48 @ 48 Enchanted Valley Olympic National Park

I had seen this done by other hikers and decided to set this as my goal for this yr. My bestie Mit, decided it was a great goal too so we are going for it!! We will hike 48 hikes this year that we both turn 48!! A hike will be anything that is a mile or greater.


Hike #1 is the Enchanted Valley - Pony Bridge, hiked a mile and a half and the snow got too deep for the equipment we had so we headed back. 3 miles 1/22/12
