#9 of 48 @ 48 Dry Bed Lakes

Great little hike and from what we were told it is good fishing too.

Short hike, but we had to park down the road because there was so much snow, and hike in from there.

#5 of 48 @ 48 Wynoochee Valley

Wynoochee Valley Falls was the destination, but Plan B took us up an old de-commissioned road for a very nice birthday hike. Due to the storm the week before there were too many trees down to make the falls.

#4 of 48 @ 48 Wynoochee Valley

Colonel Bob Trail from the Quinault River side, this trail has been closed due to all the trees downed from the storm a couple yrs. ago... They are still working on it.. we ran into the Corps crew, great workers.
Our goal this yr. is to backpack into Moonshine Flats stay over and then head up to Col. Bob peak and go out the Pete's Creek trail. :)

The upper Quinault is full of beauty, this is a nice trail when we where there the snow was still present on trail and the road coming in. Remember this is NOT A DOG FRIENDLY AREA.
